Underfloor, within the walls ... or even in the ceiling! They all provide energy efficient and pleasant radiant warmth; there no right or wrong answers, but each has been The Build4 Meditherm® system is equally efficient whether installed under efits to offer.
Underfloor System
The system provides the slimmest wet underfloor heating solution on the market. Supplied pre-fitted in modular panels as thin as 12.5mm there is no better solution for efficient retro installations where you need to retain the existing flooring. Our insulated panels are supplied with the 6mm distribution pipework pre-fitted ready for push fit connection to our 20mm distribution pipes.
Alternatively, for screed applications our 20mm pipework can be used but of course this solution is much deeper than our pre-fitted panels with 6mm distribution pipes.
Wall System
If you are looking for an alternative to conventional radiators look no further. Our Meditherm® wall heating solution is supplied within pre-assembled 12.5mm plasterboard with a choice of insulation (20mm to 100mm). Fit the plasterboard as normal and simply connect the 6mm feed pipe tails at the bottom using push fit connectors to the 20mm distribution pipes. It couldn’t be easier.
Ceiling System
The great advantage in installing the Meditherm® system in the ceiling is that it is tucked away from interference. You can place furniture any where without compromising your heating source. Our pre-assembled insulated plasterboard ensures your warmth is directed down to where you need it – please don’t worry that your heat will be lost to the loft! This really is a smart choice and Build4 confidently encourage you to consider our ceiling heating solution.
